Handpan
The handpan is one of the newest instruments on the planet, and one of the most instantly rewarding to play. This one belongs to Janet of Janet’s Planet. She left it with us for a few days, and we seized the chance to sample it for the Midiwood catalogue.
It was made by PanInc in South Africa from stainless steel, and its warm, meditative tones are beautifully resonant. That makes it a natural fit for a handpan Kontakt sample library.
The handpan has found a devoted audience in the wellness space. It is easy to learn, and its delicate, mindful tones create a meditative atmosphere from the very first note. Midiwood Handpan brings that calm to your DAW.
This library is more focused than the instruments we usually take on, yet it stays true to the heart of every Midiwood release: sample libraries with stories to tell. They inspire, they are easy to play, and they give your music true authenticity.
Fittingly, one of the newest instruments on the planet pairs beautifully with one of the oldest, our own Dulcimer Santur.

FAQ
Yes you can. Once you have purchased this, you can use it freely.
Unfortunately we don’t offer refunds on any software based release. Please contact us if you have any problems though.
Your choice.
Minimum 8GB. Kontakt allows you to purge the samples and will then only load the samples you are playing into RAM as you play them. This is not a problem with SSD drives but with spindle HD drives you will have to update the sample pool as you go.
