Overview

Keyswitch Transpose

Transpose your keyswitches to any key - Default position is C1 and it can go as low as C-2

Articulations

Each articulation is recorded with up to 4 round robins, 5 velocity layers and 3 mic positions. Articulations include Long sustain, flam, swarm, swarm swell. We have also included a handpan wipe loop. There are a total of 4 articulations.

Microphone Positions

We recorded in 4 mic positions:

  • Close - Mono
  • Close - Stereo
  • Room - Mono (Features pseudo stereo switching)

Blend allows you to quickly slide between the 3 positions. 

Dynamics / Expression

Dynamics - DYN - CC1 - Use Modwheel - Controls the velocity response curve.

Dynamics - EXP - CC11 - Expression controls overall instrument volume

Presets Menu

Load 15 factory presets or save and Load your own presets.

Effects

four carefully curated effects to texture your personal sound.

  • Cabinet - Body and Air
  • EQ - Hi, Mid and Low
  • Delay - Time, Feesback, Wet
  • Reverb - Wet, Decay and Freeze

Keyswitches

Red represents the 4 articulation keyswitches

Wipe Samples

Pressing C1 play and loop the handpan wipe samples.

Note Range

All playable notes for the set articulations will display in blue. The Purple notes are the handpan root notes.

Microphone Channels

Room Mic Mono Stereo

The room mic is recorded in mono but we have included the option to set ti to pseudo stereo. This gives the Room mic a broader width and fills the mix nicely.

Presets Menu

Preset Menu

Clicking the preset menu icon will reveal the preset menu. We have provided 15 factory presets to get you started. 

User Presets
You can also save and load your own presets. 

Effects

Reverb Freeze

This will freeze the sound and provide a characteristic drone sound . This button is linked directly to the Sustain pedal (CC64)

Effects - Cabinet

Adds a warm body and a thinner air / in-the-room sound.

Effects - Tape

Adds wow modulation, with speed control.

Effects - EQ

Hi

Mid

Low

Effects - Reverb

With a decay slider up to infinite decay and a mix or wet dial.
